16/6/08 - Video diary #2
Nick has been a busy little boy and has now uploaded the second of his video updates for you all. This one's a Nick-and-Curtis only special, giving you a rather frightening insight into their mad, mad minds. Have a look over in our studio blog
9/4/08 - Video diary #1
It has recently dawned on us just how bad we've been at keeping in touch with the outside world since the international release of the album almost a year ago. A lot has been happening since then, but given that we really had nothing ready to show for our efforts, we basically forgot about the website and have just been concentrating on writing new music, amongst other things (Cornel got married, Nick got engaged, Curtis got a double-neck guitar and Knotty got... drunk alot).
Well we've now decided that it's finally time to start the ball rolling again and keep you fans (yes, both of you) informed about our progress with the next album. To that end, we've reopened our studio blog, and Nick has produced a lovely new video as the first entry for the year. We plan to make this a regular ocurrence, so make sure you check back often.
10/9/07 - Demoing of New Material is Underway.
Just a short update for all those people who've been asking about the second album. You'll be pleased to know that writing and demoing of new material for the next album is well underway. It's shaping up to be quite a departure from the first one, and we're all very excited with the direction our music is taking. No definite news on ETA at this stage, as there is still much work to be done before we're ready to record, but we're hopeful that it'll be sometime in the next 12 months. Stay tuned!
1/5/07 - Album launched... again!
We are very proud to announce that our debut album has finally been released under the Prog Rock Records label! This means we now have international distribution and the album is selling from various online stores and all good music retailers near you! It gives us a warm, fuzzy feeling inside to know that we're actually on store shelves on the other side of the world... now all we have to do is actually sell some! There have also been heaps of new reviews all over the web, so be sure to visit our reviews page and check them out.
14/3/07 - Album launch delayed.
Well, it's been a hectic start to the year for T3E! Due to unexpected demand for pre-orders via the Prog Rock Records website, we have sold out of the initial batch of CD's before the album's release! This means that we've regretably had to push back the launch of the album in stores while we print a new batch. In order to expedite this, we've re-designed the artwork so that it can be printed as quikcly as possible. This means that all of you lucky "first edition" owners had better look after your collector's items! We hope to have it all sorted and ready to ship in the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned.
27/2/07 - T3E live videos.
Nick has finished editing the footage from our album launch gig at the Republic bar and you can all have a peek at the fruits of his labours over on youtube. There are three videos in all: Tungsten Blues, Falling/PartV and a cover of Peter Gabriel's Digging in the dirt (clicking the links will open the videos on the youtube site in a new window). Check them out and let us know what you think! We've also added a couple more reviews to the reviews page.
21/12/06 - The Third Ending signed to Prog Rock Records
You heard it here first... or maybe second... or perhaps even third?.... (well, we're not called the "Third Ending" for nothing...) ok, ok bad jokes aside: The Third Ending has signed with Prog Rock Records, a US-based label, for the international sale, promotion and distribution of our album. PRR has been gaining a great reputation for supporting and promoting new bands and we're very excited about the opportunity to work with them in bringing our music to a wider audience. You can find out more about PRR on their website here.
21/12/06 - Merry Christmas From the Third Ending.
As the silly season looms just around the corner, we thought we'd take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas for 2006, and a safe and happy New Year! To celebrate the impending arrival of ludicrous amounts of presents, food, and severe hangovers we thought we'd mark the occasion by offering a limited edition "Christmas Cracker" for everyone to enjoy. If you proceed to the media page you will find two new MP3's - one is a demo of a completed tune that was scratched from inclusion on the CD, the other is an earlier demo of a song that you might recognise from the album ;) But hurry, the Christmas Cracker will only be available for a short time! Do not open till Xmas!...Well...maybe just a little bit....
20/9/06 - Lyrics added
A number of people have commented that the album art is a bit tricky to read. Well... tough! It's art - deal with it! Ok, ok, to stop you all from straining your eyes so hard that your head explodes, we've stuck the lyrics up on the album page. Happy now? What's that I hear you mutter? You hope that the next album cover is easier to read? Well I'm sorry, but the next one is already in planning and it's going to have brown text on a brown background...printed backwards...in Latin.
28/7/06 - The Dividing Line Radio airplay and album giveaway competition.
Over the last couple of weeks Frans Keylard has been playing some of our tracks on his show "Rogues Gallery" on The Dividing Line radio station in Seattle. Now, we've mentioned before what a generous bunch of guys we are, so this week Frans has been holding a competition to win a signed copy of our album. For more details, check the Rogues Gallery website, and be sure to tune in next week to hear more tracks and find out if you're the lucky winner.
3/7/06 - Full length mp3 of Eleven now available for download.
We've had quite a few people ask us for a full-length track from the album so, being the generous bunch that we are, we've decided to offer an mp3 of the first track, Eleven, on the media page. It's not a high quality mp3, so you'll have to buy the CD to hear it in all its proper glory...
3/7/06 - A few minor additions to the site.
Well, the first batch of CD's have arrived at their destinations and feedback has started to trickle in so we thought we'd start adding some quotes we like to the album page. Knotty has also designed some pretty wallpapers which you can download from the media page.
19/6/06 - The new website is up and the album is ready to order!
Yes, we've finally done it! After all the hard work, dedication, determination.... procrastination, frustration etc. etc. - THE ALBUM IS COMPLETELY 100% CATEGORICALLY ABSOLUTELY AND TOTALLY FINISHED AND READY TO ORDER!!! Click here to order your copy. You may also have noticed that the website has been redesigned to reflect the new album artwork. Have a look around and let us know what you think.
2/5/06 - CD's are being pressed as we speak!
That's not a misprint people. Curtis has mixed and mastered to everyone's satisfation, and Knotty has done a stirling effort producing our artwork despite difficulties in sourcing the right materials. The album is now in the hands of the CD pressing facility, and the artwork being run off at the printers'. It's been a hell of a journey, but at long last we can say that this is the very last step before release. A sampler and online ordering facilities will follow in the next few weeks. Watch this space very closely!
15/2/06 - Almost there...
That's right folks! The final vocal tracks have been completed and so the recording of the album is essentially finished (excepting the possibility of some minor touch-ups). Curtis has been mixing "in progress" as we've been tracking the vocals and so the mixing process is also mostly completed. We now just have to tweak the mixes until we're all happy with them and then do some final mastering before the cd is ready for production. Knotty has been working on the art and layout for the insert so the whole thing is really coming together. Stay tuned for a release date!
